We are pleased and excited to officially announce that PWEP is partnering with Small Change Fund to protect the precious natural areas of Inverhuron. Small Change Fund is a fantastic organization that helps grassroots groups such as ours amplify our cause and raise funds. So today, for the first time since our inception, we are asking for donations from the community in order to help sustain our efforts in safeguarding Inverhuron's natural heritage.
As you know, PWEP has applied for a judicial review against the Tidman development, a large-scale subdivision proposal that threatens to destroy critical wildlife habitat and cause irreversible environmental damage in the heart of Inverhuron, right next to the Provincial Park. Our team of volunteers has been working tirelessly to prevent this destructive development from going forward, but we need your help to pay for legal fees and environmental experts.
Please consider making a donation to help us in this fight. It's not an overstatement to say that the future of Inverhuron depends on it: if we are able to stop this development, others such as the Sundance proposal may be averted. So please, if you can, donate here.
