Friends,
This is the last time we'll reach out to you about the Public Meeting regarding the Bruce County Official Plan. You know by now that we don't ask for your help unless we really need it: this is one of those times.
If you can, please join us at the public meeting tomorrow, Thursday June 18th at 9:30 in the Bruce County Council Chambers at 30 Park St., Walkerton. Even if you choose not to speak, your presence itself will speak volumes. Come with your family and friends, get involved in some environmental advocacy, show your support and make a morning out of it!
We will be at the meeting, speaking up for Inverhuron, and we really hope to see you there.
Why is this so important? Because the new Official Plan will set the pace for development across the County for the next 20 years, until 2046. If we don't get this right now and do everything we can to prevent urban sprawl, Inverhuorn could look very different even just a few years down the road.
If you want to get more information on this issue, you can read up on our Land Use page and on our latest blog posts.
Thank you so much for your continued support and engagement.
In gratitude,
The Team @ PWEP
